Bobby Leon Crow, 82, of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Wednesday morning, November 2, 2022, in Carthage. He was born on March 31, 1940, in Oil City, Louisiana to the late Almer Leon and Amy Juanita Jones Crow. Bobby attended school in Dubberly, Louisiana and graduated with the Dubberly High School class of 1958. After graduation, he attended Louisiana State University "Geaux Tigers" where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. Bobby remained a devoted L.S.U. Tiger football fan for the rest of his life. After college, he worked as an insurance agent, and soon established Crow Insurance Agency which became his lifetime occupation. Bobby married Thomasine Beene Rinkle on March 16, 1991, in Greenwood, Louisiana. He was a long-time member of Northside Christian Center and enjoyed doing mission work through his church. Bobby also enjoyed hunting and gardening. He served as Republican Chairman for Panola County for many years. In addition to his parents, Bobby was also preceded in death by his step-father, Delbert Harper and brother, Charles Crow.

He is survived by his wife, Thomasine Rinkle Crow; daughter, Evie Lynn Lemelin and husband Danny of Knoxville, Tennessee; sons, Jeffrey Leon Crow and wife Kristi of Knoxville, Tennessee, William Eric Crow of Toledo, Ohio, and Michael Ryan Crow of Dallas, Texas; step-daughter, Teresa Reaves of Tatum, Texas; step-son, Tommy Rinkle of Tenaha, Texas; granddaughter, April Joy Service of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandson, David Lemelin of Louisville, Tennessee; brother, James Crow of Sun City, California; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Aaron Bequette officiating. Visitation will be from 10 – 11 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service.
