Bobbie Spradley Jones, 86, of Kerrville, TX formerly of Carthage, passed away on Wednesday morning, Nov. 8, 2017, in Kerrville. Bobbie Bernell Spradley Jones was born on Feb. 16, 1931, in Carthage to the late H.W. and Carrie Lee Hightower Spradley. She graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1950. Mrs. Jones moved to Kerrville 12 years ago from San Augustine. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Jones; brothers, James Doyle Spradley and Benny Ray Spradley; and sister, Doris Ann Hightower.

Survivors include daughters, Linda Harris and husband David of Kerrville and Patricia LaRue of Kerrville; sons, Donald Gene McDowell of Kerville and Steven Ray Smith of Kerrville; brother, Royce Wayne Spradley and wife Paula of Carthage; sister, Jenny Francia and husband Tony of Arkansas; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, at Antioch Cemetery with Dr. Dale Reed officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
