Bobbie Ann Ross Cecil, 76, of Carthage, Texas passed away May 13, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Cecil was born September 6, 1944 in Beckville, Texas to the late Elvis Marlin and Elvesta Faulkner Ross. Bobbie was raised in Beckville and graduated form Beckville High School with the class of 1964. She worked for Carthage Cup and retired after 15 years. Bobbie married Henry Loyd Cecil on December 26, 1989 and celebrated 13 years until his death on November 28, 2003. She was a Baptist, loved crafting and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Carthage VFW Post #5620. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Billy Joe and Marlin Elvis Ross; sisters, Patsy Ruth Ross and Ola Rene Ross Jester.

Mrs. Cecil is survived by her sons, Charlie Harvey and wife Lynda of Conway, AR, Stephen Harvey and wife Evelyn of Tenaha; daughter, Angela Marsh and husband Charles of Bossier City, La; sisters, Mary Louise Bryant of Old Center, Kathy Shivers and husband Paul of Mesquite; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cecil will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel, 1131 State Hwy 149, Carthage, Texas 75633. Brandon Pierce will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Langley Cemetery in Beckville.

Pallbearers will be Josh Bryant, Shane Bryant, Bubba Ross, Michael McCune, Brandon Evans and Wade Harvey. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffery Bryant, James McCune, Michael Ross and Justin Evans.
