Billy Weaver, Sr., 63, of Carthage, TX., passed away on Tuesday morning, Jan. 5, 2021, in Longview, TX.  Billy Joe Weaver, Sr. was born on Feb. 27, 1957, in Houston, TX, to Elton Harrell and Mary Evelyn Brown Weaver. He attended Joaquin High School and was a retired machinist from NOV.  He was preceded in death by his father, Elton Harrell Weaver; and brother, Johnny Wayne Weaver.

Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Smith; wife, Beth Weaver; sons, B.J. Weaver, Jr. and wife, and Perry Weaver and wife; brother, Danny Weaver; and sisters, Rita Odom, Sheilah Lewis and husband David, and Tammy Weaver.  Many other family members and friends also survive.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
