William Homer "Bill" Sells, 70, of Clayton, TX, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, March 27, 2019, at his home. He was born on Oct. 24, 1948, in Henderson, TX to the late Clyde William and Sylvia Bea Robinett Sells. Mr. Sells graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1967. He married Linda Davis on June 16, 1967, in Carthage. Mr. Sells worked in the timber business his whole life. He lived his lifetime in Panola County and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Clayton. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Sells.

Survivors include his wife, Linda of Clayton; son, Billy Sells of Long Branch; daughter, Denise Aviles and husband Ricky of Clayton; brother, Wayne Sells and wife Cathy of Clayton; sisters, Mary Brown of Clayton and Rebecca Godwin and husband Harold of Clayton; grandchildren, Brytanie Wilson and husband Kevin, Amy Sells, Sonya Sells, Brandy Mutina and husband Chase, and Dalton Aviles; and 5 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dale Reed, Rev. Leon Hicks, and Bro. Ronnie Mutina officiating. Interment will follow in Clayton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Tony Allen, Chris Sells, Travis Sells, Jamie Brown, Paul Oney, Chase Mutina, Kevin Wilson, and Jonathan Sells. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Brown, Taylor Oney, Cody Godwin, Dalton Aviles, Brantley Aviles, Raylan Mutina, and Kolby Wilson.
