Obituary
Mrs. Betty Ann Stone, age 63 of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Sunday afternoon, April 6, 2008 in Tyler, Texas. There are no services scheduled. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
Betty Ann Soape Stone was born on September 1, 1944 in Panola County, Texas to R. E. and Ruby Barton Soape. Mrs. Stone worked as a manager in the hotel business. She married Roger Stone on November 1, 1983. She had lived in Panola County since 1975 moving from Longview. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Stone is survived by her husband, Roger Stone of Carthage; two daughters, Janet Elaine Reed of Austin and Anita Moore of Dear Park; her father, R. E. Soape of Carthage; four brothers; and two grandchildren.
