Obituary
Betty G. Green, 94, of Carthage formerly of the Dallas area, passed away on Saturday night, Oct. 25, 2014, in Carthage. She was born on Feb. 2, 1920, in Kansas to the late Lewis and Ina P. Beddoe Moore. Mrs. Green attended the University of Oklahoma. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Green moved to Carthage 20 years ago to be closer to her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay Jones of Carthage; two granddaughters, Renae Jones and Cheryl Denson; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one on the way.
A private service was held on Tuesday morning, October 28, 2014, at Carthage City Cemetery.
