Obituary
A graveside service for Mrs. Berlie Jo Carter, age 92, will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Shady Grove Cemetery near DeBerry under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mrs. Carter passed away on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012.
Mrs. Carter, a native of Withrow Springs, Ark., was born Sept. 10, 1919. She was a longtime resident of DeBerry, Texas, where she was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Carter retired from Sam's Club as a demo lady when she was 91 years old. Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore and her daughter, Damone Winters.
Mrs. Carter is survived by her grandsons, Christopher and Joseph Winters and a host nieces and nephews.
