Barbara Ellis, 87, of Carthage, Texas, formerly of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on Sunday morning, January 14, 2018, in Carthage. Barbara Lou Shaw Ellis was born on Aug. 17, 1930, in Elwood, Indiana to the late Harold and Agnes Stookey Shaw. Local survivor includes her daughter, Cynthia Miller of Lake Murvaul. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
