Baby Scarlett Rose Hunter, age 14 days, of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Saturday afternoon, January 21, 2023, at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Scarlett Rose was born on January 7, 2023, in Longview, Texas, to Kevin Michael and Jessica Gabrielle Hanes Hunter.

She is survived by her parents, Kevin and Jessica Hunter; brother, Traevin Hunter; sister, Makayla Hunter; grandparents, Shannon and Joel Hanes, Patrick Hunter and Mary Laster, and Michelle Clark; great grandparents, Barbara Scarborough, Christine and William Hunter, and Larry Hatcher; uncles, Clint Hanes and wife Jessica, Sterling Hanes, and Addison Hanes; and aunts, Ashley Hunter and Kayli Clark.  Numerous other relatives and Blazer Construction family survive.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Carthage City Cemetery, with Dayna Milam officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
