A private funeral service for Baby Karsyn Rae Parks was held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with James Chancellor officiating. Interment followed in Patroon Cemetery in Shelby County, Texas. Baby Parks was born and passed away on Friday afternoon, Nov. 8, 2013, in Longview.

Baby Parks is survived by her parents, Samantha Jori Parks and Daniel Paul Hickson of Carthage; grandparents, Carole Parks of Carthage and Jimmy Wade Parks of Carthage; great-grandparents, Beatrice Parks of Carthage, Patricia Chancellor of San Antonio, and Franklin and Vivian Henderson of Greenbrier, Ark; and uncles, Jimmy Parks and wife Courtney of Carthage and Jesse Parks of Richardson.

Serving as pallbearers were Jimmy Parks and Jesse Parks.
