Graveside services for Baby Gavin Kane Allred will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery near Carthage with Brother Freddy Mason officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Baby Gavin was born and passed away on Saturday night, February 23, 2008 at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, Texas. Baby Gavin was a "little fighter" and during the short amount of time he was here, he touched many lives.

Baby Gavin was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Doyle Adams, Sylvan and Delta Lee Harris, Ralph Williamson, and Ralph and Edna Allred; and a sibling on April 27, 2007.

Baby Gavin is survived by his parents, Daniel and Michelle Harris Allred of the Fair Play Community; maternal grandparents, Ronny and Linda Harris of the Fair Play Community; paternal grandparents, Warren and Kathy Allred of Groesbeck; great-grandparents, Betty Adams of Beckville, Mary Williamson of Beckville; and two uncles, Michael Harris and wife Jennifer of the Fair Play Community and Colt Allred of Groesbeck.
