A Mass of Christian Burial Service for Mrs. Aurellia Marie Fox Bott, age 96, of Deadwood, TX, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at St. William of Vercelli Catholic Church with Father Michael Adams officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Shalom Cemetery in Deadwood. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Bott passed away on Saturday evening, Nov. 27, 2010, at her home in Deadwood.
Aurellia Marie Fox Bott was born on April 18, 1914, in Shreveport, LA to Charles Gregory Fox and Ida Frances Champieux Fox. Mrs. Bott graduated from Fair Park High School in Shreveport with the class of 1932. She married Roy Linton Bott on Apr. 20, 1935, in Shreveport and he preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 1998. Mrs. Bott moved to Panola County in 1984, from Shreveport and was a member of the St. William of Vercelli Catholic Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Olan Mark Bott; one sister, Sr. M. Hyacinth; and three brothers, James Albert Fox, Charles Gregory Fox, Jr., and Robert Thomas Fox.
Mrs. Bott is survived by six sons, Gregory Roy Bott and wife Vera of Keithville, LA, Edward Troy Bott and wife Mary Anne of Frisco, TX, Lanny Robert Bott and wife Vickie of Florissant, MO, Daniel Ardrian Bott and wife Marsha of Deadwood, Michael Owen Bott and wife Karen of Coram, NY, and Kevin Marion Bott and wife Ann of Temple, TX; five daughters, Patricia Marie Templin of Deadwood, Loretta Frances Brown and husband Lynn of Conroe, TX, Ramona Ann Reynolds and husband Gordon of Deadwood, Dolores Elaine Byars of Longview, TX, and Donna Louise Bohn and husband Mike of Frisco; 30 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends also survive Mrs. Bott.
Serving as pallbearers are Michael Newman, Jeffrey Newman, Logan Doughty, Tobi Duckworth, Eric Duckworth, Jonathan Tiller, Joshua Templin, and Alan Templin.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Melinda Qualls and the entire staff of Heart's Way Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Bott.
