A graveside service for Artimeaci Craig, 86, of Carthage, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2015, at New Prospect Cemetery near Beckville with Rev. Steve Jackson officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mrs. Craig passed away on Wednesday morning, July 8, 2015, in Longview.

Artimeaci Davidson Craig was born on Oct. 5, 1928, in Paris, TX, to the late William Jessie and Lula Artimeaci Stripland Davidson. Mrs. Craig married Wallace Craig on Oct. 5, 1946, in Marshall and he preceded her in death on Aug. 29, 2012. She worked as a nurse at Panola General Hospital for many years until her retirement. Mrs. Craig was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Skolnick.

Mrs. Craig is survived by her son, Ricky Craig and wife Trudy of Carthage; daughter, Margie Ann Jentes of Longview; sister, Evelyn Calloway and husband Charles of Marshall; and grandson, Cody Craig of Carthage.
