Annie Louise Hill Donald, 95, of Longview, formerly of Carthage, passed away on Thursday morning, Jan. 4, 2018, in Longview. She was born on Nov. 16, 1922, in Beckville, to the late Robert "Bob" and Nettie Mae Sipes Hill. She married James Franklin Donald and he preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 1973. Mrs. Donald worked at Perry Bros. for many years and later in the cafeteria at C.I.S.D. until her retirement. She moved to Longview in March of 2003, from Carthage and was a member of the Carthage Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Donald was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Joyce Wood on Jan. 19, 2008; and six siblings.

She is survived by daughter, Judy Ryan of Longview; sister, Sarah Jane Ferguson and husband Ralph of Tyler; grandchildren, James Stringfellow and wife Kim of Harleton, Stacey Stringfellow and wife Renee' of Harleton, Steven Shaw and wife Victoria of Longview, and Jeffrey Shaw and wife Andrea of White Oak; great-grandchildren, Cody, Wyatt, and ShyAnne Stringfellow, Misty Santos, Jessica and Austin Stringfellow, Sarah, Kristen, and Braydon Shaw; and great-great-grandchildren, McKenna Rae Shaw, Kyle and Kingston Santos, and Beau and River Treece. Numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dale Reed officiating. A private interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
