Angela Paula Hitchcock Chapin, 41, of Roswell, NM, passed away on Wednesday evening, Aug 20, 2014, in Carthage. She was born on Aug. 24, 1972, in San Antonio to Jon and Debra Eileen Samford Hitchcock. Angie enjoyed going to the library, reading, and being with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Roswell, NM. Angie was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Angie is survived by her parents, Debra Samford Duke and husband J.E. of Carthage, Jon Hitchcock and wife Dieta of Roswell, and Mark DeCelle of Cape Coral, FL; son, Christopher Chapin of Chicago; daughter, Catherine Chapin of Roswell; fiancé, Zack Snaith of Roswell; sister, Dorothy Kozakowski and husband Ron of Chicago; grandsons, Roark and Liam; a granddaughter on the way; nephews, Alec and Ryan Kozakowski of Chicago; aunt, Paula Laritz of Pensacola; and cousin, Frankie Laritz of Pensacola.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Carthage Healthcare and Dr. Deepti Govathoti.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
