Sis. Angel Nekendra Mishaar "Keechie" Sutton was born the forth of seven children on August 16, 1977 in Panola County to the parentage of the late Mr. James Sutton and Mrs. Margaret Geter Sutton. She was lovely and known as "Kee-chie" by family members and friends.
She graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1995. From March 1995 to March 1996 she reined as Carthage Courtesy Club Beauty Pageant Queen.
Keechie was a phenomenal woman with a bubbly personality, attitude of determination, and the drive of a champion. She was the epitome of success, beauty and class. She was faithful in her church attendance and didn't mind letting her light shine. She was at the turning point of her life and everything she touched was blessed.
Keechie accepted Christ at an early age at Antioch Church of Christ and later united with Forest Hill Church of Christ, under the leadership of Bro. Emanual White, Sr., after moving to Fort Worth and remained faithful until her untimely death. She was gainfully employed with Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) for seven-and-a-half years.
On this journey we call life, it's not always easy. Keechie had to face her challenges head-on, with her perseverance and tremendous faith in God, she made it. Early Saturday morning, December 8, 2012, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called home His faithful servant Sis. Angel Nekendra Mishaar Sutton. She touches all those whom she came in contact with and will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Her life speaks for itself!
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; her parents, James and Margaret Geter-Sutton; two brothers, Anthony Kenyona Sutton and Taraveon Akareme Abdule Gabor "Kreme" Sutton; and one niece, Yasmine Nicole Mahones.
