Obituary
A graveside service for Mr. Andrew Ellis, 90, of Carthage, formerly of the Beckville Tatum area, was held at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015, at Harris Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mr. Ellis passed away on Wednesday morning, July 29, 2015, at Briarcliff Nursing Home in Carthage.
Andrew Foster Ellis was born on Feb. 12, 1925, in Beckville to the late Gilmer and Ara Hillen Ellis. Mr. Ellis served his county in the U.S. Navy. He worked in the pipeline industry until his retirement. Mr. Ellis moved to Briarcliff in February of 2008.
Mr. Ellis is survived by his friends and staff at Briarcliff.
