Andrea Nation, 70, of DeBerry, Texas, passed away on January 29, 2024, in Tyler, Texas.  Andrea Denise Smith was born on April 20, 1953, in The Bronx, New York, to the late William Michael and Irene May Grimes Smith. She graduated from Taft High School in The Bronx. Andrea married Morris Edward "Eddie" Nation on July 23, 1979, in Houston, Texas. Eddie preceded her in death on May 31, 2019. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Spc. James Lee Adair.

Andrea is survived by her daughters, Tiffany Monroe and Chelsea Adair; grandchildren, Abigail Monroe, Avery Lee Adair, Madalyn Monroe, and Mackenzie Monroe; and brother, Bill Smith and wife Maria.

Cremation arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
