Amy Jane Juarez, age 51, passed away in the morning of Monday, December 8, 2025. Born on September 30, 1974 in Beaumont, California to Margret Dickinson and George Pollard, Amy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met.

A memorial service for Amy will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Carthage Church of Christ, 1309 W Panola Street, Carthage, TX 75633 with Minister Tony Singleton officiating. Public visitation and arrival will begin at 3:30 p.m. The memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. There will be no graveside service. Any flowers, gifts, or donations can be sent to Carthage Church of Christ prior to service.

An empathetic caregiver, Amy dedicated her life to caring for those around her. She had the joy of working as an LVN in the earlier years of her adulthood. After starting a family of her own with the love of her life, she rejoined the workforce as an in-home caregiver for the elderly.

Amy's passion for taking care of others didn't stop there. Her love for animals couldn't go unnoticed. Her home always had some sort of pet, from iguanas to cats and dogs. Amy would stop to interact with animals and reptiles whenever she had the chance. Horses, turtles, cows, pigs, birds, and more. Her heart grew with love for every person and animal that entered into her life.

Amy was a woman of faith, believing in God with a strong heart. Amy grew up in faith and married a man that believed just as strongly as she. Together they raised three children in God's name and reverence.

Amy is survived by her loving husband, Jeffery Juarez; daughter Amber Mims and son-in-law Keith Mims, son Joseph Juarez and daughter-in-law Lexus Barron, and daughter Amanda Juarez; her father George Pollard and stepmother Pam Pollard; grandsons Aaron and Edwin Mims; mother-in-law Alana Baca and father-in-law Martin Baca. She was preceded by her mother, Margret Dickinson.
