A memorial service for Ms. Amy Rene Franks, age 39, of Carthage, TX, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Lasater officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the memorial service. Ms. Franks passed away on Wednesday afternoon, July 4, 2012, in Carthage. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.

Amy Rene Franks was born on May 18, 1973, in Carthage, TX to Arnold Franks, Jr. and Theresa Stewart Franks. Ms. Franks loved artwork, ceramics, crocheting, animals, and working on the computer. She lived her lifetime in Carthage and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her father; her grandmothers, Eloise Franks and Wanda P. Stewart; and her grandfather, William Darnell Stewart, Sr.

Ms. Franks is survived by her mother, Theresa Franks; grandfather, Arnold Franks, Sr.; grandmothers, Ilene Stewart and Dean Franks; one daughter, Eloise Lawrence; one brother, Arnold Franks, Jr. II; two nieces, Ashley Franks and Courtney Khun; and one nephew Corey Smith. Numerous aunts, uncles, and friends also survive Ms. Franks.
