Amelia Jade Burns, 3 months of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Monday afternoon, March 18, 2024, in Carthage. She was born on December 11, 2023, in Henderson, Texas to Sonny Lee Burns and Jacy Lynn Adams Burns. Baby Burns was preceded in death by grandfather, David Burns.

Baby Burns is survived by her parents, Sonny and Jacy Burns; grandparents, Jeremy and Amanda Adams, Jennifer Corder, and Dennis Corder; great-grandparents, Lana and David Peavy, Sandra and Bobby Cooper, and J.P. and Marilyn Corder; sisters, Claire, Rebecca, and Angel Burns; aunt, Jamie Adams; uncles, Jeremy Adams, Jr., Tommy Adams (Kaylyn), Jeremy Burns, and Cory Burns (Crystal); and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Michael Barber officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Waskom, Texas. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Sonny Burns and Jeremy Adams, Sr.

Honorary pallbearers are J.J. Adams, Tommy Adams, Cory Burns, Jeremy Burns, and Kayden Burns.
