Alvin Oscar Watts, Jr. passed away on Saturday evening, Aug. 29, 2015. He was born in Shreveport on June 3, 1929, to the late Alvin Oscar and Ina Mae Paxton Watts. He graduated from C.E. Byrd High School in Shreveport and served his country in the U.S. Air Force before being honorably discharged. Mr. Watts worked at Grain & Elevator in Shreveport for many years. He owned a dairy and worked in real estate before his retirement. He was of the Assembly of God faith.

Mr. Watts is survived by his brothers, Thomas Watts and wife Janice of Alexandria and Victor L. Watts and wife Pauline of DeBerry; three nieces; and one nephew.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. No services are planned at this time.
