Alexis Perez-Alvarez, 15, of Beckville, Texas, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, August 9, 2023, in Dallas, Texas.  Alexis was born on April 10, 2008, in Carthage, Texas to Ernesto Perez and Maria Guadalupe Alvarez Perez. He attended Beckville schools where he was starting his freshman year. Alexis was a member of the band, played football and basketball, and ran track for the Bearcats.

Alexis is survived by his father and mother, Ernesto and Maria Perez; brother, Miguel Perez; grandparents, Jesus and Zenaida Perez, and Jose and Maria Alvarez; uncles and aunts, Alfonso Perez (Lucrecia), Magdalena Martinez (Eliseo), Jesus Perez (Magdalena), Susana Jimerson (George), Israel Perez, Roberto Perez, Daniel Perez, Jesse Perez, Juan Alvarez (Maribel), Rosario Alvarez (Salvador), Juan Pablo Alvarez (Almarosa), and Felipe Alvarez (Edith).  Numerous cousins and other relatives also survive.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at St. William of Vercelli Catholic Church with Father Steve Paradis officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.  A visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
