A graveside service for Mrs. Adalee "Addie" Louise Ludlow, 94, of Beckville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, at Restland Memorial Park with Bro. Bruce Will officiating, visitation to follow afterward under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.. Mrs. Ludlow passed away on Sunday night, Oct. 11, 2015, in Carthage.
Adalee "Addie" Louise Ludlow was born on February 10, 1921, in Beaumont, TX, to the late Fred P. and Constance E. Hill Elliott. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Beckville. Mrs. Ludlow was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #273 in Beckville. She married the love of her life Carol Glen Ludlow on November 30, 1939. She also loved to sew, read, paint, bake and decorate cakes, and was a member of Body Recall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carol Glen Ludlow; 3 brothers, Fred P. Elliott Jr., Ronald Glen Elliott, and Curtis Riley Elliott.
Mrs. Ludlow is survived by her son, Richard Ludlow and wife Dianne; daughters, Priscilla Gentry and husband Reagan, and Glenda Morris and husband Clifton; 6 grandchildren, Rhett Gentry, Melanie Love, Stephen Morris, Carroll Morris, Melissa Anderson, and Michael Ludlow; 17 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive Mrs. Ludlow.
Honorary Pallbearers are Rhett Gentry, Stephen Morris, Carroll Morris, Michael Ludlow, Bubba Deitz, Jerry Wayne Anderson, and Matt Love.
